Mosaic Workshops with
Simone teaches most of her classes in such a way that they are suitable for both beginners as well as intermediate level mosaicists. She provides verbal instruction, as well as demonstrations for each phase of the mosaic process, followed by individual coaching for each participant while they are working on their project. Classes are kept small to accommodate this individualized attention and allow individuals to work at their respective experience levels.
Teaching workshops is one of Simone’s favorite things to do! She teaches out of her home studio, guest teaches through other art studios, has been teaching through Carolina Coastal University’s OLLI program since 2013, and will travel to teach groups in their homes or other venues providing there is sufficient workspace.
More About Workshops with Studio Esquibel
Each workshop utilizes high quality materials, which are included in the workshop fee (unless otherwise noted). Simone will provide the necessary tools for completing each project; though participants are welcome to bring their own favorite tools or embellishments for decorating their mosaic.

How to Schedule a Workshop with Studio Esquibel
Contact Simone if you would like to discuss options for individual instruction, workshops, or consultation on your specific project.
Some of the options available include:
- Schedule a workshop for your specific group at Simone’s studio in Fort Mill, SC or at your designated space. Cost may vary based on size of your group and location if travel is required.
- Put your name on a wait list to be notified of a specific workshop once it’s scheduled. Once I have enough expressed interest I will put a workshop together!
- Interested in doing something different than the workshops listed? Contact Simone to see if a workshop around your specific interest can be coordinated.
- Inquire about private instruction. Simone enjoys working with students individually as well as groups, and many students find that individual instruction is exactly what they need to begin or enhance their mosaic journey.
In addition, if done locally, some of these workshops can be broken down into multiple 3 hr sessions which are done over the course of several days or weeks. For example, the trivet workshop can take place over 1 ½ days; 3 consecutive half days; or three weeks, meeting 3 hrs once a week for three weeks.
